01 / The scope

The aim is to grow into ownership across these ten areas. Prior experience in every area is not essential. We will prioritise the work together rather than tackle everything at once.
Feature development
Build and deploy frontend and backend features using AI coding tools and reusable skills, with proper testing and verification.
Marketing
Create Twitter content, product demos and potentially AI-generated videos for Instagram.
Growth and subscriptions
Track acquisition, signups, trials and paid subscriptions, identify drop-offs, and improve conversion and retention.
Customer experience
Improve onboarding, investigate customer issues and turn feedback into product improvements.
Data operations
Collect and clean market data, maintain databases, and check data quality and freshness.
Backtesting infrastructure
Build and improve a reproducible backtesting engine, including realistic execution and cost assumptions.
Strategy research and evaluation
Implement strategy ideas and assess results through robustness testing, Monte Carlo simulations and correlation analysis.
Trading operations
Verify that expected daily trades match actual orders and positions, investigate discrepancies and escalate exceptions. Investment decisions and trading authority remain separately defined.
Reporting and strategy materials
Prepare monthly factsheets, strategy one-pagers and accurate website descriptions, checking the figures and explanations against their sources.
